The kosher version of pork

A co-worker just returned from the U.K. Evidently the Brits have taken gummi figures to a new level:
And while I thought it was strange to see a gummi spider, evidently the big thing in Germany is gummi Ampelmännchen. So the question remains, what tastes better a la gummi: pork or a person?
